P.E.T.s for WIP game please 👀
Okay this one is inspired by my favourite doujinshi, painted in paint and like... over 10 years old. I dont like all the backstory but the main idea? I just love it!
Also, you could finally play as a human being with wings, that should make many people happy (which I sadly cant change now because I have way too many branches where you can choose birds).
You are no human.
You may look like one, partly, but you were artificially created, born in a glass tube and delivered to this world by scientists.
A pet.
Or, according to government papers: a P.E.T. a Paragenetically Engineered Terrestrial. Terrestrial because you are neither human nor animal, an unholy mixture, not natural in any way.
At the beginning of the pet programms, you remember your schooling well, the churches and human and animal rights organisation had advocated against your made up species.
But by now you have many places in society, one can't think about modern society without it involving pets.
You are just one of many.
Programmed with a certain set of skills, made by scientists and genuises, monsters and madmen... according to the centuries old superstitition humans once held against you.
Soon after you had seen the bright lights of the delivery room, painted in calm and light colours, you had been introduced to the other ones in your batch.
You and your brethens were made for a single purpose, like all the other pets predistined for one type of work.
