A somewhat rushed reference of my main swashbuckler for art fight that I first drew on csp then lined/refined in ms paint. weird experiment i ended up doing while im in the midst of trying to learn this new program, lmao

Their original deal was that they're the alternate universe version of my ice wizard, Danielle, but I'm debating calling them "Dani" or "Dan" to distinguish them since I might wanna add her to my af eventually.

They're also used as my p101 sona, I've never really thought about their character or person, really. I'm obsessed with Halloween and swashbuckling pirates and they became my outlet. Not much character to be seen here that's all too different from me

Ettore

🎀 — Tell me a fact about them

He's good at parkour and enjoys scaling buildings and climbing things to help him gather intel. He is one of the most flexible clockworks in the Armada, due to the original intentions with his creation.

Able

😨 — Their biggest fear

He learned that while clockworks can be broken or dismantled, they do not naturally die like living beings, which has given him the fear of losing the Pirate and their Crew, as they are dear to him and become the closest thing to family over some time. He gets a little overprotective when the Pirate puts themselves in danger or gets close to death for this reason.

🥀 — A memory that still hurts

Gazpaccio getting killed is probably the one that hurts the most, and witnessing Kane doing it makes it a difficult thing to process as well. Losing his father after not spending much time with him will always be something Able regrets and wishes he could change.

Acctuuually, I think Out of my League by Fitz and the Tantrums fits Able, especially for him finding love in the Spiral. An emotion that feels that good would be something he thinks he's not worthy of.

🥀 — A memory that still hurts

Able got his hopes up with thinking that Kane was capable of redemption and held some humanity in himself as well, but learning that wasn't the case hurt him a lot. It made him realize he had to kill his brother, which was not something Able could grasp or desire until he saw the extent of Kane's damage to the Spiral and its worlds.

🎀 - His name has the Italian pronunciation EH-tor-ray. (x)

🔥 - He's found a passion for crafts and takes his origami folding seriously, discarding whatever paper is folded incorrectly or doesn't come out to his expectation.

😨- Ettore deeply fears Kane in the worry that he'll dismantle and decommission him, which is why he promptly takes off whenever he crosses paths with him.

🥀 - Getting his mask broken was the most traumatic and painful memory for him, because it meant he was no longer fit for his previous life and got ostracized from his prior coworkers.

💗 - The Armada's Queen holds his most respect and fondness. Behind her would be Deacon.

🛏️ - Clockworks can't physically tire, but Ettore does suffer some mental exhaustion if he keeps failing or making mistakes with what he's doing, prolonging the task. He gets a bit more frustrated and snappy when this happens, which is a stark contrast to his usual quiet, cool demeanor.

🎧 - Saaadddly I've never been able to attach songs to fictional characters. I don't necessarily imagine anything while listening to music so idk. Think of those ASMR waterfall videos. That's probably Ettore.

Oh yo—pirates?

Yeah so, I've also been playing pirate 101 for awhile now. Here's my boy that I haven't drawn since now, Parker🥹✌️💖 (He has rat traits, thought it be funny since I headcanon he was raised by rats after his parents got eaten by a kracken)

Literally unimportant but I finally finished a project I've been working on in which I reduced Griffin to an orange blob so... I drew him Normal Style!

And by that I do mean a Style I have literally never used before... since when??
