RD Playguide: P2-2
New Units:
Lucia -- Key Stats: N/A. In all likelihood, Lucia won't grow between now and P4...availability issues. When she does come back, she'll need the typical stats a Swordmaster needs; HP, Str, Def. For now, bask in the simple pleasure of a temporarily godlike unit.
Lethe -- Key Stats: Str. Lethe is quick and evasive, but with a poor affinity. She'll never struggle with hitting, but she may not always do damage. If you intend to use her later, you need to build her now.
Mordecai -- Key Stats: Spd. Mordecai is my personal favorite among Tigers, but the race isn't that useful as a whole. He makes a fantastic tank, but crumples when unshifted, so managing his gauge is critical. He's incredibly useful during his first appearance on this map.
Base Prep:
Oh, look, we got our base back.
Lethe's Laguz Stone <--> Mordecai's Olivi Grass. Mordecai is more immediately helpful.
Now's also a good time to distribute all of those healing items you probably stole the last map (quite a few Vulneraries and Herbs). Lucia's Elixir should go into the convoy for now, it's unnecessary.
Boss Type: Stationary.
Map Tips:
Brom and Mordecai do the best job of holding that first position east of the starting point. Lucia can go north by herself and do fine.
There's a location that Nealuchi can go to over the random cave pond that allows the Archer (Sniper? I forget) with a Longbow (farther east, unseeable on turn 1) to take a potshot at him. He should head here; it's three spaces from the nearest accessible land tile, meaning the accuracy penalty assures he can't be hit. If he also used Olivi Grass (traded from Lethe after she uses it) on the first turn, he'll fill his gauge by turn 2.
A lot of Archers and Mages on this map. Box them for easy kills (and potentially unshifted training for Lethe or Nealuchi, Mordecai is too slow and will be doubled).
You can also send someone over to box the Rogue for easy exp, but he's faster so they'll take more damage (actually Mordecai does better on this one because of his high base Def).
Send someone to stand on the Rogue's space for a while for Discipline.
Brom should chip, for Disarm opportunities. Keep Heather close in case it activates. Good things to steal: any axes or lances. Swords don't really help during P2 and Brom probably won't be able to wield the ones you pick up, and the Thunder tomes aren't that helpful either. If you're lucky, you might get a Venin Lance.
There's a Crossbow-wielding Warrior in the northeast section. Shifted Mordecai can tank it at the choke point between that and the southeast section to protect Leanne and Nealuchi.
