Love Will Tear Us Apart - Tabitha/Silas
Location: Silas’s Apartment
Time/Date: 7/21 - Late Evening
She hadn’t originally planned to go to Silas’s, but when he casually mentioned if she was coming over, she didn’t see why she couldn’t. They hadn’t had a proper catch up in forever and Silas’s always had that special place in her heart, more special than a lot of other people. Despite the time, the distance, their friendship had remained the same somewhat, they didn’t speak for weeks on end, but then they did finally get the time, they’d talk for hours. But then her last two years were her busiest and she had fell out of touch, she then started dating Travis and she knew it had been worthless holding onto feelings for a guy who’d never feel like she did.
But that was over, she was back and Silas’s was still here and the years had barely changed a thing. He was still the man she pathetically sighed and swooned over, who she smiled for when her phone lit up from his messages. It was borderline pathetic, but she was happy to have him in her life, even if in her eyes, it was just as a friend. They had good times together and that was what she had needed. She had packed a small overnight bag, taking Silas’s advice- she didn’t really want to walk out in the same clothes. As she pulled up to the address she had long programmed onto her phone, she grabbed the bag and quickly made her way to the front door.
She remembered what he said about the spare key and in her eyes, he knew she was coming so she quickly removed the key, placing it in the lock and opening the door. “Honey, I’m home.” she called, in a mockingly high pitched voice. She closed the door behind her, waiting for him to join her.
