No... That's not it at all. I just.. I don't believe it. When anyone says it to me, y'know? It's just... one of those things.
What can I do to make you believe it?
Iâd do anything for you.

No... That's not it at all. I just.. I don't believe it. When anyone says it to me, y'know? It's just... one of those things.
What can I do to make you believe it?
Iâd do anything for you.
Tabs... I just... I can't believe that. I'm sorry.
So you think Iâm a liar when I say that you deserve to be happy? That Iâm just saying it because I think itâs what you want to hear?
Sometimes I just canât with you. I never lie to you.Â
If you say so. About me, I mean. You've always deserved to be happy, and that's what I'm rooting for.
I do say so, so just accept it. We both deserve to be happy.Â
You know I'll fight my corner, And that tonight I'll call ya, After my blood is drowning in alcohol, No, I just wanna hold ya. Give a little time to me or burn this out, We'll play hide and seek to turn this around, All I want is the taste that your lips allow, My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
i need to get a real job so i can stop crying over expensive lingerie and start crying in expensive lingerie
Yeah... alright. Sorry, I didn't mean to.. y'know. Push if I did.
Your pushing actually made me realise that my choice isnât a mistake. I deserve happiness, just like you.
You didnât fight my decision, which only solidified my reasoning for settling and understanding on how you feel.Â
Just the way I was acting. I was... kinda cold.
I wasnât exactly being the queen of warmth myself. Itâs fine, letâs just forget okay?
I donât particularly want to put myself out there with you again.
....I'm glad that you don't hate me.
Why would I hate you? Youâve done nothing to me to make me warrant such feelings.
I guess Iâm just settling because I know nothing will ever happen.

TBT to the time we decided to go hiking. It was such a failure of a trip, but I wouldnât take anything back. The twisted ankle or poison ivy. Just know, Iâm sorry too and Iâd never hate you. @jasstjames #iprefertuesdayanyway
LATE NIGHT COMFORT || TABILAS
SILAS: He listened, letting his eyes wander back up to the road as she spoke. And he thought about what it meant. He understood the metaphor, almost perfectly. But at the same time, he didn't understand why she was telling it to him. Because he wasn't sure what his comet was to begin with. "Is... that supposed to make me feel better? Because I've never seen a comet in my life and I know that's too literal for the metaphor but... I don't know what my comet is, Tabs." The slight sass in his voice was back, but it was still soft. As if he were afraid of saying the wrong thing.
TABITHA: I could be it, she thought to herself. "Because you haven't found it yet- but when you do, you'll know. And everything will make sense and then maybe you'll realise how much self worth you have." she replied, simply. "I haven't seen one either...well literally, but I have found mine." she added, shrugging slightly. They just can't see it back, she added mentally.
LATE NIGHT COMFORT || TABILAS
SILAS: He felt a twinge in his heart as she brought up what almost happened to them in high school. It was so long ago; but to this day she was still one of the only people that had a piece of his heart that didn't shatter it. He looked down at her hand, running his thumb over the back of her palm. "No... you didn't. Why?" He asked softly, furrowing his brow. What the hell did a comet have to do with anything?
TABITHA: She couldn't help but sigh slightly, gently squeezing his hand in hers. "Just listen okay....so, the boy saw a comet and he felt as though his life had meaning. So when it went away, he waited his entire life for it to come back to him. It was more than just a comet because of what it brought to his life- direction, beauty, meaning. There were many who couldn't understand and sometimes, he walked among them. But even in his darkest hours, he knew that in his heart, that someday it would return to him. And his world would be whole again. And his belief in God, love and art would be reawakened in his heart. The boy saw the comet and suddenly his life had meaning."
LATE NIGHT COMFORT || TABILAS
SILAS: He shrugged, knowing very well that she couldn't see it. But he wasn't sure if he could believe her. Yeah, growing up, he felt good enough. He was smart, he got into an Ivy League University. He was charismatic; he had lovers. But this wasn't high school anymore. Now he felt almost like an empty shell; fueled by coffee and art like any typical hipster. He didn't see the beauty like he used to. "I don't really know if that person exists, Tabs... aside from you, I mean."
TABITHA: "It might take a while to find that person who really does get you- who looks at you the way I used to-" no, this wasn't the time for their past to be brought up. Friends. Best friends. That's what they were, all they had ever been. What she wanted didn't matter, all she needed to do was try to fix the man beside her. "- what I mean is....have I ever told you about the boy and his comet?" she added, wondering if maybe it would help her in trying to get him to see just how important he was.
LATE NIGHT COMFORT || TABILAS
SILAS: He looked down at her hand, hesitating before he took it in his own. It was a lot smaller, but then again -- he didn't expect anything less. "I don't know if I can handle someone basically telling me I'm not worth it again, Tabs." He whispered, closing his eyes. Usually the world passing by at however fast they were going would calm him. Just like driving really did. But in his head, things were moving too fast. "I don't think he'd do that, but... I also didn't think that he would do that before. Or... that Julian would do it."
TABITHA: She felt tears prick at her eyes and she blinked quickly, to try and hide how upsetting it was to hear Silas speak in such a way- "then you need to find that person...who knows just how much you're worth. If they can see what I see in you, how much I love and respect you, you're worth everything Silas....I can't be the only person who believes that." she said determinedly, keeping her eyes locked ahead of her.
The things I find most beautiful about a person are almost never physical.

LATE NIGHT COMFORT || TABILAS
SILAS: "I don't know... He... we went on a date. Not too long ago." He chewed his lip, running his hand through his hair. "I thought I could do it. That I'd be okay. He was being all romantic, all... /him/." The more he thought about it, the more he found himself rubbing his palms on his jeans to keep them occupied. The more he felt the internal panic setting in -- taking him back to that night with Julian. "I wanted to do it. I wanted to be okay with it, but... I just.." Swallowing, he took a glance over at her, then back to looking out the window. "I don't know if I can."
TABITHA: She glanced over at him, briefly taking in the state he was starting to get worked up in again. She took one hand off the wheel and held it out to him, in silent invitation for him to take it if he wanted. "Then this has shown you're not okay with it....you need to focus on you, you and I have not had it easy with our love lives....it leaves scars and sometimes scars take a long time to heal." she said soothingly.
LATE NIGHT COMFORT || TABILAS
SILAS: He was torn. He knew he should talk about it; shouldn't bottle it all up inside. But he didn't want to burden Tabitha with the weight of his insecurities. He didn't want to put it all on her shoulders. He was silent for a moment, his hand falling to the handle on the door of his car. Letting out a sigh, he closed his eyes a moment. "I... got overwhelmed. He.. ran in, crying, confessing his love... I got overwhelmed."
TABITHA: "So his timing wasn't perfect...perhaps he was getting ahead of himself....but do you see, anywhen in the future the two of you working things out? Maybe you guys just need to have a break away for a little while....sort both your heads out then try and come to an understanding." she said, calmly, she didn't want to be that friend picking sides, she barely knew Kota, not as well as she should do. She only knew him from Silas. "Anyone would get overwhelmed....it's a natural response."
Althea, Jas, Silas, Artie and Violet. You can only spend your life with one of these people - who's it going to be?
That isnât fair....I canât choose between this lot. Theyâre all important in my life.Â
Iâd rather spend my life alone then choose.Â
