NUOVE//Residency is pleased to announce that the artist Pablo Barreiro (b. 1982,Meaño, Spain) has joined our December 2017 - March 2018 Program. The Project is supported by Diputación De A Coruña, Spain // www.dicoruna.es Pablo Barreiro lives and works in Santiago De Compostela, Spain. In 2015 the artist already participated in NUOVE//Residency Program investigating the mechanisms of reproducibility, in particular how the history of contemporary culture has adopted the use and the meaning of "copy". The working process of the artist is mainly focused on the repetition of an image/object seeking conflicts between 'original' and 'copy'. Graduated a Fine Arts M.A. at the BBAA in Salamanca, in 2016 he participated at the MAC - Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art Residency Program, in Coruña - Spain.
