Its insane to me that this two arent together. Currently watching the last season and Granado wrote them as a couple in the book he wrote inspired by his life.
i know around season 2 Pabon accepted that Salcedo would never love him the same(he loves him as a best friend). But to me it always felt that Salcedo does have romantic feelings for Pabon (most likely bi) but because its the 70s/80s and him being more traditional he could never go there with Pabon.
before and after the events of s2 idk if its the actor but to me Salcedo always looks at Pabon in such a longing and loving way. And i know they are best friends and he does care for Pabon a lot. Its just men it always feels in the back of Salcedos head he wishes he could be with him in that way.
Now im on s4 so far we havnt seen any one to one interaction between them and so it does seem they wont end up together romantically but i am hoping.
ill say Pabon is such a great character i love him so much. He deserves everything
