Presents!?
Raira had sent out the rest of her pokemon, so that they could eat and enjoy the party too. Shauna ran over to call the seat on one side of Raira, and Calem walked more calmly over to the other side. Tierno and Trevor sat next to them. The ginger girl raised an eyebrow at all of the people she started her journey with. She figured that's where her family would sit, but- she shrugged- they could always catch up later.
Almost an hour later, most of the food was gone, and Calem put out the fire Maorin allegedly started on Shauna's Chesnaught. Raira walked over to her bag, and pulled out a large plastic box. She had been working all day yesterday to bake enough. She sat the box down in front of her pokemon, and opened the lid to reveal supreme pokepuffs carefully packed inside.
"Okay, team~"Raira chirped,"I really wanted to thank ya all for helping me get through this year~ I couldn't have done it without ya~ So I baked a whole bunch of pokepuffs for ya all to enjoy today~" The pokemon cheered, and started chowing down. Except for Shadow, who was by her papa. She picked up a few, and set them to the side for him for later.
She had just set the treats down when her brother grabbed her arm, and dragged her away from the pokemon. For some reason, instead of sitting at the table, everyone hd moved to sit in a circle on the grass. Her papa joined them soon after Raira, and Dilan sat down.
Trevor Passed an envelope around the ring until it got to Raira. It was fragrant, and the situation seemed familiar. She opened the envelope, and pulled out the letter which read:
Raira,
It's been a year since you chose the Fennekin I offered you. I watched the two of you grow together, and it's great that you two are still traveling together. I hear you've decided on a goal as a trainer. I wish you good luck in your endevours. I'm sending this letter with Trevor, as I am, unfortunately, unable to attend you're party. A brand new batch of beginning trainers have just started out, and I need to see that their trip starts off safely.

It wasn't a very long letter, but the words meant a lot to her. She never realized before, but the professor did try to be an active part in their journeys. She smiled gratefully, and the paper, before slipping it back in its envelope.
A small box was passed around next. When Raira got it, she found it was from her Papa. Ripping the paper, and opening the box she found a survival knife to replace the one she lost. She smiled, thanking him. It would be helpful for some of her more out of the way travels.
After that, Shauna all but shoved a box in her hands. Chuckling at the younger girl's excitement, she opened the box in a similar fashion to the first one. Inside was a pink blouse with black bows going up the front.
"Do you like it, Raicchi!?"She asked,"It's the same one I'm wearing! We can be twins. She ushered Raira in the house, and said,"Try it on~Try it on~"
Raira sighed,letting herself be dragged inside. She walked up to her room, and changed tops. Deciding that her shorts wouldn't work the that top she change into some jeans. Trudging down the stairs, Raira sighed again. This wasn't her style. The occasional cute skirt was ok, but pink? And giant ass bows? No thank you. She clapped, and dragged the girl back outside.
"See everyone? We look just the same!"The younger girl exclaimed.
Raira went back to her place in the circle to see thin box, this one from Tierno. Shredding the paper, she found it was a CD. According to the dancer, it had some of the songs that he and his pokemon danced to.
Getting impatient, Dilan didn't wait for Raira to put the CD with the rest of her presents, before setting his present in his sister's lap. Inside was a package of Ultra balls. She hugged her brother before accepting her next present.
This one was from Trevor. It was a small spherical package. Opening it up, she found a pokeball. She called the pokemon out, and it was a Larvitar.
"I, uh, heard you were, umm, catching all of the dark type pokemon, and Larvitar evolve into a dark type... so, yea..."The small nerd explained.
Raira got up and hugged him,"Thank ya, hun~"
Raira was about to get up and go back to her pokemon, when her Mama stopped her. "Where do you think you're going, young lady?"She demanded. Raira stopped, and rolled her eyes before turning around to listen to what the older woman was going to say. "You haven't opened every present yet, so sit back down."
Raira complied, and watched as her mother pulled out a perfectly wrapped box from her bag. It was passed down to Raira, so that she could open it. Inside was a moonstone. "Mama, I-"was all the young woman said.
"When you came home during St. Patrick's Day, I noticed you had a shiny Nidorina. I thought you may want to evolve it one day."
"I do~ Can I now?"
Her mother nodded.
Raira ran over to Hera. "Are you ready, Hera?"
"Nido! Ni!"
"Okay then~" Raira hummed, giving the stone to her pokemon. A brilliant white light surrounded the shiny pokemon as it grew. A few minutes later, the light subsided, and a Nidoqueen stood mighty and proud.
"Wow~ That is like, sooo cool!"Shauna yelled from the group behind Raira.
The ginger girl smiled back at them, before turning back to her newly evolved pokemon. "Ya know this means I can't carry ya anymore, hun~"The trainer informed.
The rest of the day was spent socializing, and battles. All in all it was a great day.
