Often when trawling sites such as SuperFuture, Bapetalk, Fuk and so forth there is talk of items of clothing and design referred to as "Grails". These items are ones that you pine over, either you slept on it when it released, you find that its quintessential to your look or it is just generally an out and out design classic. The fact that they are now no longer in your possession, never will be in your possession due to price makes them become items that you begin an never ending quest to find, hence the name "Grail". Below are perhaps the three items I would happily forfeit food to buy...
Supreme x TNF leopard print nuptse jacket. Im not sure what it is about this taxi cab yellow jacket that draws me to it. Maybe its the 'Fuck it I don't care' nature of a yellow leopard print plastered puffer jacket that I love, its a piece that is both hated yet admired, you may hate the look, but admire the audacity to wear it. Its big, its loud and its beautiful.
Visvim Serra Paccard Light Brown. Visvim is a brand that if i had the money, i would live in. They marry style and comfort in an absolute perfect marriage. These boots exude the classical vintage hiking look yet brought into the modern age. With a pair of red laces, these boots are individual, understatedly brilliant and comfortable.
W)taps gore-tex Parasmock in green. What i love about W)taps, wtaps, double taps or whatever you wanna call them is the technical aspect to all their clothing. Don't get me wrong, they aren't millets and blacks far from it, but they use quality gore tex and breathable components to construct this versatile and stylish green water proof. Its simplicity is what draws me, allowing for easy use with any outfit. Not only this, its military cut means its baggy enough to fulfil a winter coat option through layering as well. (excuse the picture, this jacket was released in the way I like in 2001, even more of a grail...)
