I bought these feeder pachnoda grubs solely because I felt bad for them ...... on a thin layer of dirt, no food and trying to cocoon with the little resources they had ): they are just babies pls be nice to them

Sun Beetles (Pachnoda marginata peregrina) are insects found in tropical Africa. Adults will eat fruit and blossoms, while larvae consume decomposing leaf litter and rotten fruit.

So these are the grubs that I got today, it was the only box left and while there would have been 10 grubs, only 6 we’re alive and the smallest one is a bit slow so idk how it’ll go but I put it on the food next to a bigger one that attempted to bury into the food and it seemed to pick up and is now almost entirely buried

So in the end I did decide to start a colony as the grubs are very good feeders and they’re good pets as beetles
