Thinking out loud
I just read a news that this couple from Florida took their 30-year-old son to court so they could kick him out of their house. It isn’t as harsh as what you think and from reading what transpired, I do believe the parents love their son and are only trying to help him to take charge of his life.
On that note, I thought about my mom who didn’t want me to move out of her house. I guess it’s a cultural thing. It’s an Asian culture that you live with your parents until you get married or sometimes you even stay with them even if you have your own family. There are pros and cons on both sides, I guess we are more pampered but I sometimes feel jealous when I see the western people just being so independent at a young age. I was a little girl until I moved to Malaysia 3 years ago and I got so much flak about it. My friends almost teased me everyday for being a little princess over there. Well, I got what I deserved and more (my KL experience deserves another post).
I guess what I’m saying is that I’m lucky to have my mom Pacita as my mom. She never get tired of taking care of all her 6 children. She even prepares food for my meal weekly. So so lucky. :) my heart is full. ❤️

Since its still summer vacation from school i’ve been trying out coffee shops and restos near us. So here’s a compilation.
Gamers Pod is a newly opened restaurant bar in Pacita. It caters Rice Meals, Frappes, Smoothies and even Alcoholic Drinks. They also offer different types of video games and board games standing up to its name.
The wall arts were cute. It has 3 spaces for playing video games.
