It made sense that when a ghost attack came along; Pacman would be the one to look at. Actually, he happened to be visiting the area when he heard the nearby ruckus. It was very uncommon for ghosts to attack outside of the usual spots nearby Pacland- perhaps it had followed him out here? It didn’t matter. All that mattered was that he dealt with it. It was just one, how hard could it be?
Problem was getting close enough to eat it before his power pellet ran out. He only brought one so he’d have to use it wisely! And that spectre happened to be flying around in the air! A good strategy he needed indeed.
“It’s ahhh… hmmm. It is a… strategy.”
You could say he wasn’t much of a thinker. He scratched the back of his head (which also happened to be his body), looking down towards the ground before turning to look back up towards the much larger other a second other. If only he weren’t so small compared to human folk.
Ah, that’s it! An idea! If this weren’t reality you’d be able to see a little lightbulb hovering over his head right about now.
“How well can you throw?”
Peter had had many a first warnings before the path of life took him to this moment. The first was encountering a walking, talking, spherical... something, by which Peter should have wondered whether or not his sobriety was broken by mistake or someone else's nefarious deed, and tried to wake up. Another was when one of these ghost thingies tried to attack him and consume him whole, by which Peter should have done a 180 and leave whatever hellhole he's fallen into. Another was watching as this spherical creature ate one of the ghosts in turn, by which Peter should have given up his atheistic tendencies and beg whichever god would listen to him to get him out of this hellhole.
Every opportunity to bail and return to the safety of his home had either slipped through his fingers or was thwarted. Fantastic. Well, Peter had always wondered what it was like to spend his weekend hiding from weird-looking spirits, clutching a large rock in a desperate need for a weapon.
Yep, desperation. Meaning, at this point, Peter was willing to try anything. Including whatever idea Mr... What was his name, again? Pac-Man? Whatever idea he had. Peter glanced up at the ghost, as well, and dropped his rock. He rolled up his sleeves.
"More than good enough, I supposed." If he could access even a bit of his power from all the way out here, that is.
