Colossal Raptor

Raptor as in bird of prey, not dinosaurs. 

Wingspan of...15-20 feet? Didn’t get a good look. Hunts around rock faces. Probably got a nest somewhere at the top of cliffs.

Doesn’t seem overly resilient, but won’t break a sweat snatching off a common man or beast.

Colossal Snake

Like a hundred feet long, 2.5 feet wide, makes 6-inch grove in the ground as it slithers. Jet black scale, makes tremors as it passes. Can’t miss it.

Laring - Hunting Felines

Subspecies of the Rraru. These people are iffy at naming things.

The “ring” doesn’t mean it’s tiny or anything. It’s huge: long and lithe, but not as thick as its pack-hunting, ground-dwelling cousins. The Laring prefers dexterous jumps over tree tops and are solo hunters, active at multiple times a day. Pounces mid-range from tree-to-tree on powerful hindlegs.

Climbing claws. Teethy. Tail isn’t as long as the Rraru.

Lighter bone density means easier to repel or cripple with bludgeoning weapons if need be.

Long Leech

Swarms of ‘em sitting in muck of still waters and sticks on you and drinks blood...as leeches do. They hate dryness and needs moisture, and I suppose the similarity ends there.

Unlike leeches, these little bastards comes with a mouth on both the anterior and posterior sides. Not sure where the posterior one leads.

Speculation (by me) goes that since the area is fulled of tonne-plus megafaunas, the leeches gets a feast whenever one comes by. If they had an anterior mouth for feeding, the posterior mouth could lead to a separate blood sac that it could regurgitate for its young(s).

Maybe their saliva can be harvested for anticoagulant.

Verduran Poison Dart

A hollowed out, inch-long thorn filled with poison and fired from a blowgun (??). Generally used for hunting soft, medium-sized targets.

Targets cardiovascular system.

Poison: ???, injury type, unknown strength (at least intermediate). Activates in contact with air. Neutralized after several minutes.

Bellor: Three-toed Ram - Megafauna

Herbivorous. Migratory dietary routes while waiting for trees to grow back. Moderate speed. Large enough to barrel through trees, but experienced (older) ones are dexterous enough to maneuver between trees. Travels in herds.

Ram-like horns. Forward-hooking teeth for sheering.

Adults reach over 5 meters tall (15 ft). 

Inch-thick skin, thinner at the nape. Rubbery epidermis, tough dermis, fragile hypodermis.

Two stomachs. Likely eats rock to aid digestion and bone reinforcements (??). Strong bones as a result.

Rraru - Hunting Felines

(Pronounced RAH-rue). 

Front heavy, with long tail for counterbalance. Prowls like a big cat. Fluffy-furred, but annoying to look at. 

Intelligent enough to hunt in packs, move in formation, and will scavenge if the opportunity arises. Excellent sense of scent. Got these tingling strange wolf-like howl. Hooked claws snag preys and weight them down, while razor sharp teeth lets them easily tear into prey with a distinct bite signature.

Exhibits minor meal-sharing behavior. Creature chooses parts from prey and feast in private.

Stealthy, speedy. Colored to camouflage: deep muddy brown to imitate mottled sunlight.

Korov Grass - Colossal Forest

Steer clear of abnormally uniform, fresh grass. The singular tree on these grounds are carnivorous.

The grass is razor-sharp and has anaesthetic effects.
