Hi sorry to bother, but how did you make her hair look that way in the last picture to the right of this edit?: scarjoing(.)tumblr(.)com/post/57927471525/i-am-in-here-because-i-am-no-different-from
hi!! what i did is work the cap depending on each specific main color in it and how i wanted it to look (what i wanted to enhance/what i didn't) working with layer masks. i knew i wanted to bring out the yellow in her hair and the pink of the window, so i enhanced both those colors with selective color/color balance/vibrance layers, all the while erasing the parts i did not want changed or did not want affected by another color (with different opacities on my brush, so even when erasing some of a color layer, the cap would still work as a whole) but i also did not want a lot of contrast and wanted it to have a bit of a pastel feel to work with the picspam as a whole, so i then reduced the vibrance of the colors and worked a lot of white into her skin/the general feel of the cap
i uploaded a .psd here recreating what i did so you can see my layers, it'll probably work better at guiding you into understanding what i mean rather than me explaining it badly lmao, but using this method you do need to work with the best quality caps you can find and keep the size big (resizing it to 500 usually works for me to do it) so you can actually see that you're erasing in the masks properly and such
Ahh your blog is so nice (◕‿◕✿)
Thank you :3
Your edits are awesome!

No, that's not my trick, Michael.
It's my ILLUSION!
