And they executed him.

This is a tactic lynch mobs used to men and youth during Jim Crow who also castrated, (g)raped, and mutilated victims and survivors to instill racial terrorism and settler violence on communities.
When we historians study gendered violence in relation to slavery and segregation, attacking reproductive organs is considered a form of s*xual assault. Also I’m pretty sure that counts as child endangerment and molestation (of course we know this country adultifies Black, Native, and brown kids)

Not everything is about race, but when your reaction to the existence of Black characters in whites-only stories is the same reaction white housewives had to Black and brown kids entering their whites-only schools . . . it turns your accusations into confessions about your views on race.
John Brown was so anti-racist, my guy was willing to kill other white people who profited off of slavery and supported slave patrols.
I’m not saying you have to do with John Brown did, I’m just saying the man knew where he stood. 
A lot of y’all think nonviolence and peaceful protest are synonyms the same way yall think abolition and emancipation are the same thing and de-segregation and integration had the same aim.
White feminism: If you are not trying claim the same [patriarchal] power men wield, then you’re against the girl boss rainbow brigade + you can’t sit with us // break the glass ceiling + disregard the shards falling on everyone below.
Black feminism // afrofeminism: Abolish oppressive systems of power rooted in death things + state funded violence across racial, gender, queer + class lines // redistribute resources communally to our most vulnerable + erased so we can all rise + thrive.
