They should have called the Williams episode of Drive to Survive “A New Lowe”.
Claire is really just trying drag Williams out of the mud with everything she has in her. She was extremely livid with Paddy Lowe that they missed 2 days of testing.
Williams Trying to Travel Through Time via Slow Car
The Williams Formula 1 team have come up with a new excuse as to why their car is so slow confirmed that they are purposefully making their cars slower in order to travel through time.
“Marty McFly and “Doc” Emmett Brown only needed to go 88 miles per hour in order to travel through time. Our current top speed of 188 mph (which we can only achieve on the long straight in Baku) is thus far too quick, meaning we are presently unable to travel through time.” claimed Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams.
“In 2 years time, we expect to be slow enough to travel through time. Our guys at the factory are already working 25.5 hours a day on the flux capacitor!”
When asked why it was important for a racing team to sod off to different time periods, Claire responded “We are currently 10th and last in the constructor’s. What have we got to lose by investing in time travel technology?!”
This confirms reports that Williams have hit a new Lowe this season.
