Happy New Year! 🖕🏼🌟 The greatest freedom lies in choosing to assign a different meaning to whatever presents itself. 2016 was hard for everyone, it seems.TBH I cried harder and more than I ever have an adult. Not so easy in the moment, but in reflecting back on the year you can thread the data points together with a different story entirely and escape whatever 2-dimensional prison the mind is containing you in. In a different context, maybe you're the Hero, maybe a whole new universe has just been created for you to expand into, and oh fuck that’s uncomfortable at first... but dare to believe that maybe all this years experiences were perfect and brilliant and have carried you to a place where you can take the biggest bounce of your fucking life. If you can’t see any of it yet, trust that Hope will soon carry you to that high peak with this majestic view. Look for the light of it on the horizon every day, and you will live your way into it. I promise. The meaning or the story you choose doesn’t instantly become the Truth, it’s a practice. A moment to moment commitment to living in light instead of darkness. A deep holding of the connection to that rebellious spirit we all have deep down inside that calls us to choose the story that feels the best and shows us the depth of our own essence. Makes us love our fucking selves. That's the greatest rebellion. Choose the story, make it the truth. Celebrate no matter what, joy is the result of playing in this space.
