Dippica Week 2017 Day 3
Authors Note: Sorry if this isn’t great kinda rushed it. Feedback is appreciated positive and negative, just don’t be a dick
The whiskey haired boy looked at the clock, even though it was only a little past eleven he wasn’t getting to sleep anytime soon. His sister and her pig were asynchronously snoring heavily on the other side of the room. The male decided the best solution was to get some fresh air. He donned some comfortable clothes and shoes, left a note, and started walking. He had no real idea where he was going, he was just heading in a general direction. He also didn’t know how long he was going to be out for, he just wanted to be out of the house.
After a short period of walking the boy felt someone was close to him. He slowed his pace to get a good feel for where the other person was and headed in their direction. To his surprise, a familiar blond was sitting on a blanket on the ground. She had on a coat, a purple scarf wrapped partially over her head, and sunglasses on.
“You know, only the worst kind of people wear sunglasses at night” he couldn’t see her eyes but he could feel that she rolled her eyes and was now glaring at him.
“Ugh, did I take another homeless person’s spot again. Damn.”
“Nice to see you too Pacifica. What brings you out so late” Dipper gave a slight chuckle. Regardless of how things started with Pacifica, she has grown into a good friend of his from Gravity Falls.
“Needed to get away from my parents, I also couldn’t have them ground me and take stuff away from me so they can’t find out I did anything they didn’t want me to do hence the getup”
“You do know everyone in Gravity Falls knows what you look like in and out of that getup.”
The blond gets red in the face and looks as if she’s about to yell
Dipper slams his palm into his face “I mean, everyone knows your incognito get up and your normal getup. I didn’t mean for the other sentence to come out like it did” he looks shocked at his own stupidity.
“You’re lucky you’re cute” she muttered
“I said I was sorry Pacifica”
“I said forget about it. And yeah I need to change up my wardrobe. Ugh getting wardrobe tips from a… peasant.” Both teens look at each other and lock eyes they then can’t contain their laughter.
“So how often do you come out here to avoid your parents Paz?”
“Eh, about two or three times a week. More if it’s a bad week. I find the stars comforting. I don’t really know the names of them so I make up my own.”
“I could teach you… if you’d like?” Dipper looked innocently at his friend.
“I’d love that” Pacifica ogled her crush.
The brown haired male sat on the blanket next to the blond and held her hand and used it to point to draw and show her where the stars were. He didn’t notice her shaking or blushing. Neither of the two knows who fell asleep first, both claim the other did. The only one who knows who fell asleep first is a girl who took a picture of them from the bushes and her pig.
“you can’t be here now.”

Pacifica was sittingon her bed flipping through a magazine, when she heard something. Shelooked around, trying find the source of the noise, and a small blackshape caught her attention. She squeaked, straightening up to get abetter look. A black cat leaped up on her bed, and she tensed. The catmeowed, but there was something off about the sound.
“What,” Pacificamurmured. She took a closer look at the animal now sitting on herbed. It’s eyes were burning yellow, and a small gold star hung fromits collar. “Dipper!?” She hissed.
“Hi,” The catsaid. It smiled, revealing a set of razor sharp teeth. Pacificasputtered, losing all pretense of holding her high class persona.“Long time no see, beautiful.”
“I- What?”Pacifica said, blush rising to her cheeks. Dipper kneaded herbedspread with his paws, and Pacifica remembered her parentsdownstairs. They were waiting for her to come to dinner. “You can’tbe here now. Also, I thought you didn’t like cats?”
“I don’t,” Dippersaid, hopping up into Pacifica’s lap. “But this form is,unfortunately, easier to keep corporeal.” There was a pause, andPacifca’s hand instinctively found its way to Dippers head. He leanedinto it, enjoying the feeling of being pet. “Mabel heard you werevisiting your parents, and asked me to come steal you. Want to ditch,and come party.”
“Enticing offer,”Pacifica replied. She thought about it a moment. “But no. Myparents seem to be actually trying to make things better between us.I’m giving them a chance.”
“I suppose that’sfair,” Dipper replied. “I could stick around in case things gowrong.”
“No, that’d beunfair to them,” Pacifica laughed, picking up Dipper and turninghim to face her. “But if things do start going south, the shackwill be my first stop. Sound good?”
“Is that a deal?”Dipper asked. Pacifica put him down on the bed and rolled her eyes.
“No way, kitten,”She said, with a wink. “I’ve seen too many magical girl animes tomake any kind of contract with a talking cat.”
“Of course.”Dipper laughed, and disappeared in a puff of black smoke.
