Same old, same old. I'm still doing the Talk to Me in Korean lessons every day. I'm half way through Core Grammar 3.

I'm still studying ASL for an hour a day. Mostly I'm watching Instagram reels and Tik Toks of deaf people signing ASL. I'm still learning new signs, but I'm also learning common variations of signs.

bad news, 3 months later, and I still can't understand ASL 😭⚰️

I am finished! 🥳 I have completed all of the LifePrint ASL course videos on ASL 🤟 It took 3 solid months, an hour of ASL study every single day, but I did it.

I'm not fluent in ASL, but I'm much better than I was. I'm not finished learning, but I'm finished with this course.

I'm writing sample sentences while watching k dramas. I wish learning Spanish had been this fun.

I just started watching the East Palace. The subtitles are still in English, because I still need to increase my vocabulary. I'll switch Korean closed caption when I understand more.

I've decided to be precocious and put a lot more of my time into learning Korean. So, by next week, I'll have finished the ASL 4 course, and I'm going to spend a lot less time on sign language until I get good enough at Korean to learn Korean Sign Language

I also started the Talk to Me in Korean reading app today.

I feel like I've reached a level of ASL now where I'm intermediate to advanced. I mostly need practice. I know all the basics, though. I've been reviewing signs repeatedly from different sources. I've been diligent.

Early progress report. Tomorrow is this fan blog's 100 days 💯 and it's full, so I'm going to post this today.

I'm 111 days into my ASL lessons. I'm on LifePrint's fourth course. I've been following more ASL, KSL, and British Sign Language signers.

I just finished Core Grammar Level 2 on TTMIK. I've also finished Speak and Write Level 1. I recently finished all of the beginner courses, as I posted last week during my review period. Today I learned 다 vs 더 , or all vs more. I also learned the phrase 가지 마세요, please don't go. Every day TTMIK breaking my heart 💔😅

Speaking of, I wanted to switch from monthly TTMIK sub to yearly because it's half the price and I really like the courses. However, the only way I can do that is to cancel, wait for my month to run out, and then get the yearly subscription.

I promise I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying. It just looks a little different. ❤️‍🩹
