I got a set of drinking horns for my partner for Yule! Originally they weren't supposed to arrive until after Christmas but they arrived on the second day of Yule and I am so happy! Good Yule, everyone~
Last night was 1 year with Max, and I walked into a very thoughtful present!! I’ve wanted this oujia board for three years from my local witch shop, and I had no idea this was going to be my gift!!! He also got me a beautiful solid gold clover necklace charm.
I cannot explain how much this man is my soulmate. He's the most beautiful person I have ever laid eyes on. We are about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime together- moving to Oregon from Florida. All the way across the continent. I can't wait to build a life with you, darling.
So my partner and I decided to just get souvenir coins made from our visit to renfaire this weekend. I decided to get Yggdrasil and a Stag’s head done in ore of pewter, and my partner got Mjolnir and the Vegvisir in bronze!
Just a cute little note. So since moving back to where my partner and I were previously staying, I don’t really have the space to fully set up an ostentatious altar display, so I only have out my offering dish and a few items and crystals pertaining to Ostara from when I celebrated. Over the course of the month, my partner, who is still relatively new to his path as a Norse Pagan, has slowly been adding things to my micro-altar like his sgian-dubh (or kilt knife) he intends on wearing in our wedding, a braided cord, a bead he found and thought I’d like and I just think it’s the most precious thing that he adds little trinkets to my altar. I love him~
Ah! I’m so excited! I wish it had arrived Saturday for Solstice, but my partner just got his Mjolnir that I ordered for him! I couldn’t afford one around Yule, so this is a verrrrrry belated Yule gift that arrived the day after Litha haha. He loves it so much, and I cannot express how glad I am to have a partner like him on my path. May this Mjolnir be a symbol of strength and protection and back you with the power of a thousand thunderstorms, my love!
So I have been on an absolute hyper focused mindset on wedding planning, even though it's still going to be a while before we actually have a ceremony. Our goal is to be in a home of our own first, and be in a financially stable place to have a nice ceremony where my friends and family can fly up to be there for us. However, I am just in planning mode like crazy for some reason! I already have my rings picked out, I may have my dress picked out now, and I have a fairly good idea on what the ceremony will be like (we've agreed on doing a handfasting and incorporating as much pagan stuff as we can get by with). Idk why I have been so nose-deep in all of this even though it's not going to happen for a while yet, but I am so pumped about it! Does anyone else do this??
Made “chicken” and dumplings last night for Lammas for Max and I!! His new favorite dinner dish. All vegan of course, because we don’t use animals for our pleasure 😺
