Pagat cave and lookout is one of the most beautiful and fun hikes on Guam! 1 mile downhill to the cave, then play in the clear waters of the cave, go see the lookout and be awestruck by its sloshing beauty. And then 1 mile back up! It can get really muddy when raining so better to go when it’s dry! It started drizzling as we headed back but good thing the forest is well covered.
Pagat cave, located north east of the Guam island. Hike down to this hole in the mountain, which then opens up to a cave with such clear water inside! Next time I would bring water shoes so you don’t have to hike back in soaked hiking boots. They also tried their best to mark the hike with ribbons on trees or orange graffiti on rocks (because many have gotten lost) , but it is still pretty confusing if you haven’t been there before.
