Remember that one time Conis's dad appeared after he was thought to be dead, crashing the solemn moment and making everyone angry at him? yeah, so do I.

And if anyone is wondering why Ciel is so close to Usopp, the meta answer is because I couldn't find a place to position her and thus drew her between Usopp and Zoro instead. Now the in-universe answer is because Usopp is holding her up, you can even see her arm slung around his shoulder if you look closely, and yes, pre timeskip Ciel is taller than Nami, but not for long.

Now the two most changed picture except for Ciel herself is Luffy and Usopp, and that's one of the key things belonging to the Cotbs AU, like why Usopp is wearing a Bird Mask.

Oh, and Luffy, by the by, is Genderfluid, so you can expect to see them wearing different clothing instead of just their canon red vest.
