WHAT THE FUCK
Go off, Prim! I love how she gives Plutarch some of that same Everdeen girl sass. Tell her to leave Katniss, and she'll tell their mom on you. "And I warn you, she doesn't think much of a Gamemaker calling the shots on Katniss's life. Especially when you've taken such poor care of her."
But my favorite quote about Prim, which just compounds all of Katniss's earlier feelings about how quickly she's growing up:
"I look at my little sister and think how she has inherited the best qualities our family has to offer: my mother's healing hands, my father's level head, and my fight. There's something else there as well, something entirely her own. An ability to look into the confusing mess of life and see things for what they are."
"Look, I know I don't have the firmest grasp on time, but I'm pretty sure it's really late for brunch." "What, are you into rules now?" "Hell no," Jane says, instantly affronted. "If you care what time brunch happens, you're a cop."
