Cal is already in their sleeping bag when you and Gestalt walk over to the far end of campground. They don’t seem fully asleep but they don’t say anything as you lay down.

The sleeping bag is comfortable enough after the day you had. Gestalt kneels down on the ground next to you and thumbs through their [Tome of Dreams] The pages seem to have a strange golden glow to them, the words twisting and forming new phrases as if they were tiny ink snakes.

You can’t read yet but you assume that words don’t normally do that.

You are not sure what Gestalt means by that. Find you afterwards?

You gently close your eyes, and the swirling ink and golden glow from the pages are still there even behind your eyelids.

They form small patterns that you can barely discern. Even without being able to read, you can tell what the symbols are trying to tell you.
