Page of Doom

One who masters doom

Pages are one of the most powerful classes, as once they master their aspect, they can control it to basically any extent. As a Page of Doom, this means you’ll be given full control over death and sacrifice. This means you’ll be a powerful fighter, being able to magically will things to death, and also being able to heal others, by removing doom from them. This doesn’t give the ability to resurrect the dead sadly, and you’ll likely struggle with that. Quite a bit.

As a Page, you’ll start thinking you know Doom, or pretending you do. This could also manifest as pretending to know destiny, or sacrifice. More importantly though, you’ll be punished by Doom. As a Doom player, you will have both a Prospit and Derse dream self, of which you will burn through quite quickly as you do a lot of dying. Mastering your aspect is key to surviving the session.

The personal quest of a Page is a challenging one, you will be forced to face your aspect, and understand that you really don’t know anything about it, before the learning process and thus mastery can begin. This can all be made much easier with a Sylph of Breath or Blood, or a Seer of Light or Life. Other than that, you’re pretty much out of luck for assistance in your quest, and it’s a struggle you must face alone.

As the Page of Doom, you’ll likely lose your Derse self first, so that you can live as a Prospit dreamer for a good portion of the session.
