You travel? That sounds great. Being bitten by the wanderlust bug; seems less painful than fire ants.

I do. Or did, I haven’t properly travelled in about 3.5 years, now, except for a few excursions. 

Yes, I do imagine it’d be less painful than fire ants. Those sound horrible.

What does one have to do to get /ostracized/ in your family?

Anything that might disgrace the name. Thankfully we seem to be past kicking people out for having children out of wedlock but a few generations back, easily. Squandering away your part of your family’s money, walking out on the family, getting caught doing major criminal activity, drug or alcohol addiction with no signs of quietly slipping into a rehab program of some sort, those kinds of things. It all sounds harsh but when you have a high society family name, it sort of comes with the territory.

Nobody’s barred from surfing lessons. That’d be a hella shitty thing to do. No matter what sort of.... costume the like to wear in the water.
