Hi! I can recommend anime’s better probably if that’s alright!  Psycho Pass is really good if you haven’t seen it, along with Erased, Death Parade, One Punch Man, Assassination Classroom (I still haven’t finished the second season though…), 91 days, either of the Fullmetal Alchemist if you haven’t seen those, Noragami, Owari no Seraph, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Darker Than Black, Attack On Titan (if you haven’t seen it).

quite honestly, i get influenced so easily when i write, so i try my best to avoid reading fics for fandoms i’m actively writing for. so i haven’t read a lot of soukoku stuff???

Günter's name? Until now I've seen Gunter, Gunther, Günter, Günther —and every other combination, I guess—. It happens the same with his last name: Christ? Kleist?

Lord von Christ Günter. We confirmed the spelling of Günter with official sources, his last name isn’t actually written with the occidental alphabet anywhere, but we decided Christ because the many jokes about Jesus across the canon.

When I started my translations in spanish I needed consistency and to decide a few names and terminology, that was also needed for english when I started working with Alaxxis Sade and some other translators. A couple of years ago, many translators and I made a big investigation and had some debates about everything, the result is the terminology list on Baka Tsuki. Some of these come from artbooks and official sources (like Josak, that had like 3 or 4 spellings in the fandom but it’s included in an artbook with J, S and K), but the rest aren’t Word of God but just decisions we made after discussing it a lot. There were other decisions like preserve all original words with the joke “ma” on them, like mazoku, mateki, maseki, etc. Everything has an explanation about why we decided that, but you’ll also see other translators use other versions too, it’s a pity we don’t actually have a fanbook or paper with more official info about all the names. Also, when they released the official english version in Comic Walker and published a couple of manga chapters around 100+ I was happy, until I saw “Anishia” instead of Anissina and some other strange names and stuff and I did’t really agreed with, since some of the other translators felt the same way we decided to continue with our list. And even if we have this list and we keep updating it with new stuff, the only novels that are consistent with it so far are the ones done by Alaxxis Sade, and some drama cds or specials that came later. But we actually need to fix the old volumes, and that’s something I don’t have the time to do, so I’ll make good use of this space and leave an open invitation for anyone who would like to help. Just chat with me if you feel like giving us a hand and we’ll talk about the details. Be aware it’s a “boring” job and you’ll actually need a lot of free time to acomplish it xD

Do you know what happened to the maou before Cäcilie?

As far as I know from spoilers, Chevalier, the guy/butler who always is with Cherie everywhere, it’s the former Maou known as the Lion King. He’s deeply in love with her since a long time and now is like her shadow. There’s some sort of love triangle between Cherie, Fanfan and him. It seems he was not confident about his political skills when he ruled and there’s not much info about the guy either. That’s all I can remember from little pieces of details some of the translators told me.

Hi~ on Vol 1, Ch 7 (Maou vs. Wolf), just after the maid recovered it is said "Yuuri and Wolfram saw that. Wolfram wasn't about to make excuses. If he was going to kill him, then kill him. For a brat who only had some good looks being conquered was humiliating, and he would rather die like a military man than kneel and beg for his life. " I don't really understand which is supposed to be the brat /:

The good looking brat is Yuuri from Wolfram’s point of view.

Yes, they’re renders. I did the ones for my blog myself, like the one in the main page and the other download pages Ihave, and I’ve done a few of the ones I posted here of the manga, etc.

¿Qué te pareció el final del manga? Me pareció un poco... apresurado (es la mejor traducción que he encontrado para "rushed"), por decirlo de alguna manera. Me parece que deja bastantes incógnitas, no sé; mi mente sólo piensa "¿Qué pasa después?"

Me pareció meh. A pesar de los cambios, venia apoyando el plot del manga, pero con un final a las apuradas no podiamos esperar otra cosa. El tema es que ahora con todo esto atado con alambre estoy mas tendiente a dejar ese canon de lado, me hubiera gustado algo un poco mas completo que desarollara las ideas que estaban planteando. Más allá de eso, está bueno que anuncien mas manga, seguro vamos a tener el especial del tankobon pero además lo de la gaiden es super interesante. No tengo especulaciones respecto al contenido, pero me gusta mucho saber que hay mas.
