This feels like an opritune time to share this:
I painted this freehand on an old wine bottle in high school, sometime around 2008.
She has been with me since the beginning.
I wrote 100 pages about her and defended it as my bachelor’s thesis in 2017.
I cannot wait to see her again.
This year's Christmas crafts were painted bottles.

These take between 4-7 hours each, so I was rather busy making these for gifts this year😅
I saw some crafts like this on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a try. I'm wasn't sure about the sequins for the letters, but it is bright and cheery looking against a dark brown wall. I may try this again in different colors😊.
The butterflies are painted on bottles that came from Wales and contained honey mead. They were a gift to me from my daughter-in-law's father, Peter. The mead was great!!! Then the bottles were a nice addition to the wine bottles I had done a couple years before.
Perhaps the butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness and still become something beautiful. Anonymous.

I still never finished this jar... started it after I heard that glue mixed with paint goes better on glass than just straight up paint. Has anyone else heard this?
Painted Bottles 🖤
I just wanted to show off my pretties 🖤
I use them for storing charged water(moon water, sun water, rainbow water ect.) Or various other things. I draw sigils on the lids of the Mason jars or the bottoms of the bottles to charge contents of the jar with.
The white one isn't completely finished, I plan to add silver filigree and some crystals to it. It also has a special feature. This sounds strange but I mixed ash from my incense and sage with white paint and painted the bottle with that. I find it gives the paint an interesting texture, as well as some intense protective and fiery magical qualities. I love incorporating art into my craft.
