Is it possible to paint on tiles?
Yes, it is possible to paint on tiles. Tiles can be painted with special ceramic paints that are designed to adhere to the tile surface and withstand moisture and wear.
Before painting, the tiles must be thoroughly cleaned and any existing coatings or finishes must be removed. The surface should be smooth and free of any cracks or chips. It is also recommended to use a primer specifically designed for ceramic surfaces to ensure good adhesion of the paint.
Once the surface is prepared, the paint can be applied using a brush, roller or sprayer. The number of coats required will depend on the color and opacity of the paint being used. After the final coat, it is important to allow the paint to dry completely before using the tiles.
It is worth noting that while it is possible to paint tiles, it is important to use the correct products and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to ensure a durable and long-lasting finish

P2, P4, P5, P7 Small Paintings
These are “artist tiles”, 10cmx10cm. On these tiles are the things that are included in my project. The idea behind these were that they were going to be on the exterior of my exhibition. So that when people went to see my work, there would be these small paintings on the outside. This was going to be interactive; the viewers would have to try and see if they can find the objects in the tiles in the bigger painting. Some of which would be easy to find, others would be harder to find. I was going to select 9 of the tiles that i had done. I painted 10 tiles so far, leaving 5 just being sketched and 2 using marker pens. I marked out a 1cm border and then taped the edges so that it would leave me a crisp line when I take it off. However on some of them the paint bled through.
