Painters Tape

Painter's tape, also known as masking tape, is a type of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that is widely used in painting projects. It is designed to be easily applied and removed without leaving residue or damaging the surface it is applied to.

Painter's tape is typically made of a Washi paper or Crepe paper as carrier. It has a relatively low-tack adhesive on one side that allows it to adhere to surfaces temporarily.

I removed the tape from my pony and made it a cute reel, but the music is copyrighted so enjoy the sound of silence I guess!

The sturdy nerdy stitchery is still under construction! Sort of... I'm just taking a stitching break for about 75% of my awaking time. I stitch orders in the mornings for about 30 to 60 minutes or so and then I spend the rest of the day getting my office in order.

Which isn't the easiest task of the world when you factor in a 3-year-old who needs lunch, snacks, kissed boo-boos, another such attention and care.

I'm just really proud of this because it seems that lately, when I attempt a project of any kind... I take the steps to make sure I do it right. Whether that means I have to make two prototypes before I feel satisfied with an earring design, or I have to go on to Google so I can learn how to properly apply painters tape and get a clean project.

If you would ask me about projects several years ago, I didn't have this slow down approach. I just wanted to get it done. Which would lead to careless mistakes.

But you know what they say, if anything is worth doing it's worth doing right.
