Do you have any tips for making a bioactive enclosure for a california king snake? Especially inside a tub would be helpful.

My biggest tip is to make sure your tub is deep enough for the necessary substrate layer, plus vertical space for climbing and exploring. And then to do your research about which plants and clean up crew would do best in the kind of environment a king snake needs to thrive.

There's a pretty decent amount of information in This post. This post mostly covers arid enclosures, and kingsnakes aren't fully arid, but it still has some good things to consider.

Just realized i put my tomatoes in small pots 😬 hope they survive. Im not moving the pots and theyre on the soil so maybe..?

OK you know how a mature tomato plant should be like 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide? that’s also how big it’s root system is underground.  If you’ve got a “Patio” tomato it might fare OK in a 20-gallon pot but any tomato is going to suffer more than it should in a small-to-medium pot and not fruit as well/be more susceptible to disease or weaher.  the roots won’t get into the soil from the drainage hole. Sorry.

So I’m writing a 14 year old who I see as asexual and aromantic, but he also is autistic. I’m not sure how to fight the desexulization of disabled people cause well... he’s 14 and shouldn’t be sexualized in the first place.

Aroace autistics exist. A lot. There is no study so far, just observations from the communities and, just a lot of autistics are asexual, aromantic or both. Also asexual or aromantic do not desexualize a character. It’s about (non-existing) attraction.

I want to add that our tag on desexualization has answers for questions people have asked on similar questions, just with different identities. You shouldn’t have to worry about identities themselves being a factor in desexualization.

What would the fae do with someone who wouldn't accept payment, and thus was always owed something. Like the person would do favors for everyone, including the fae, but is always very careful never to accept payment.

Here’s the thing: the Gentry are careful. Far more careful than the human students tend to be. They’ve had decades and centuries of watching their words and keeping tabs on their debts. One or two might initially accept a favor and assume it’s done out of ignorance, but once word goes out that someone is collecting debts, they wouldn’t play that game. Favors done would be rejected outright, or not accepted unless it was clarified that it was freely given. The student clearly has an agenda, and you get used to assuming the worst.

If you keep the leaves and most of the stem out of water it’s fine :3 I️ have a lucky bamboo sticking out of my tank out of the filter hole in my hood.
