Only cause you've painted it once doesn't mean you know how to do it

Like

I studied how to paint water

I painted water

I need to paint water again now

Have I any clue how I did it?

No

So back to studying again...

I feel like once we've unlocked a particular skill we should like... Keep it and be able to use it again 😩

Look.. I don’t do painting often. (I only recently stopped hating doing it) and I’ve actually built my canvases. Four times now in the passed four years. I made my fourth one today without any help this time.
