Memory painting of a wobbegong shark that I spotted while snorkelling yesterday. First time I've seen one, so at first I saw it's tail and thought 'eel' then saw its head and thought 'sea monster'. Adelaide Fringe memory painting in 3 stages. Recuerdos gave a fantastic performance at Nexus. I wasn't tempted to take photos: I just wanted to remember the whole experience and somehow turn it into a painting. This is one experiment: I began with a wash, then added lumograph pencil to give more definition.
