Finally managed to go to bed at a reasonable hour, but then I had to get up in the middle of the night to pee.
Now I'm super annoyed.
Partly because I can't get back to sleep. Mostly because I'm only just now finding out that bathroom breaks (and various other tasks) take way less time when you're wearing pajamas and not a million pieces of armor.
I usually stay in uniform right up until I crawl into bed in case I get a last-minute service request, but NO MORE. From now own, I am choosing COMFORT. The jammies will be ON the moment I get home from my last official job of the day.
I'm gonna save SO MUCH TIME and energy when I'm not clinking around in full gear.
And if anyone needs me late in the evening? Well. . . I hope they think my fuzzy socks are cute.
