I need help I’m writing a Pakistani Muslim character for a fanfiction and I don’t know how I should go about it:)

So I’m trying to write Ms. Marvel, Kamal Khan, and I think I got all the teenage girl aspects down as a teenage girl myself but I do not want to misrepresent or come off as ignorant when it comes to her culture and it would be really nice to learn about another culture in depth:) because I can only get so much from the comics:) which I’m rereading constantly✨

On a second note, would anyone be interested in reading a fiction where Ms Marvel andMiles Morales Spider-Man accidentally get teleported into the DC universe in Gotham? Because I’ve been reading too many fan fictions with Peter Parker Spider-Man and not Miles and it’s starting to piss me off a little bit. When I tried the same tags for Miss Marvel instead of Spider-Man I only saw like seven or eight of them with Miss Marvel being the main character:/

Edit: this will also be a little bit of a romance between Kamala and Miles so if anyone else else has commentary about that in the cultural aspect, I would really like to hear it:)

Ms Marvel is a show for me and and every Pakistani-Muslim out there. U have no idea the absolute joy and exhilaration i felt hearing Urdu/Islamic words being spoken as commonly and casually as English. esp in a Marvel show

Meet Sandra Saad, who brings Ms. Marvel to the interactive screen in "Marvel's Avengers."

“I have a lot of Arab friends, and a lot of stuff they go out for is harmful — wife of terrorist,” she says. “I have been told multiple times by a lot of agents that that’s all I’m going to go out for because that’s all I am. I don’t want to tell that story. I don’t want to do that to my people. So I told myself a while back that I would rather not ruin my career that way, and make myself look bad and make my people look bad, to just book a couple hundred dollar job. It’s not worth it to have that trash on my résumé.

The strong-willed patience paid off. Saad in her first large role is the voice and personality behind the superhero known as Ms. Marvel in “Marvel’s Avengers,” the alter-ego of Kamala Khan, a Muslim Pakistani teenager from Jersey City. Khan hasn’t yet made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Disney and Marvel announced last year that a “Ms. Marvel” series would be coming eventually on Disney+. Thus, Saad’s performance and Square Enix’s interpretation will be the first major cultural appearance by the character outside of the comics.“

Considering that Marvel’s Avengers has Kamala Khan as basically the main character and uniting force for the Avengers I wanna remind everybody and encourage everybody to scream about their love for Kamala Khan - the Muslim Pakistani teenage superhero who breaks stereotypes and is respectful, bubbly, lovable and great representation for Muslim and Arabic people in mainstream! It will be first major appearance of Kamala in huge medium like AAA game, so even though a lot of us loved her in various animated series and movies she appeared in, this representation will make everybody aware of Kamala Khan!
