I need s11 Joel in all his rainbows and mania in Gotham. EVERYONE would hate him and it would be wild. Joker would be trying to kill Joel with no success, he's also funnier than the Joker and actually looks like he belongs in a circus and Joel does the insane happiness far better than the Joker. Native Gothamites loose their heads over the rainbows that are unnatural in the Gotham environment and the manic cheer gives them PTSD. The batfam gets themselves in a tizzy over investigating the colorful man who breaks laws of physics casually but it is only with the reveal of his horse killings is he declared enemy #1 by Robin.
Joel on the other hand is having a great time (Other than missing his wife), I mean Everything Is Fine, Everything Is Normal, he gets to spread cheer to a new large audience, annoy that weirdo who fancies himself a funny guy, and Joel thinks he's making great stride in befriending the child who makes him think of Bdubs (grumpy, animal lover, talented artist, hates Joel)
Anyways Joel would do numbers (of haters) in Gotham
im so sorry jason todd but i AM gonna touch this guy inappropriately
I absolutely love seeing how everyone interprets Jason and Tim’s relationship across the comics, animations, and shows. The headcanons, fanon interactions, and AU twists are always so creative, fuck even when they stray far from the source material.
That said, when people portray Jason as hating Tim or holding a grudge against him, or Tim being wary or resentful over the whole Titans Tower incident… I get it, I’m not against those takes, I’m even kind of into it. But we all know that’s not exactly canon, right? It’s hella funny to explore the tension, but let’s not forget pretend that that’s canon. Cuz their relationship in the comics is more like:
Red Hood and the Outlaws (2011) in the issue #8.
This is from a crossover but specifically from We Are Robin in the issue #7.
Red Hood and the Outlaws (2016) in the issue #3.
Spoiler alert:
Tim is not actually dead
normal tuesday in gotham
he's so weird I <3 him
God Gotham was such a true camp show, so much gay villainy in fantastic outfits
