Skdksk I can't even believe the whole reason I figured out I was Lex from Paladins was because I was going up against Androxus and my heart just went ':(((( Andro, what's become of you??'

i hate just how easily i was manipulated by the abyss.

literally my first interaction with it and i became obsessed. i found a cool dagger/knife/whatever that healed others and it just spiraled from there.

because of all my studying i became the resident abyss guy so when an abyss portal pops up in a small town i get sent there to see if i can get it to go away. i can vaguely understand that the abyss is asking for a person, i assumed it was a sacrifice. i convey that knowledge and suddenly they've got a kid to sacrifice instead of a grown person. i don't know what was going on there honestly- but the kid gets possessed and pretty much everyone in the town dies.

fast forward a bit and i'm getting really desperate bc since that town i've been doing a really bad job at bringing peace to the realm and i feel like i need to do something or i'm going to get disowned.

in my time of desperation and stress the possessed child appears to me and convinces me that i could summon something from the abyss that i could use to turn the tides into the magistrates favor. like an absolute idiot i took the bait and summon a goddamn abyssal lord which i obviously couldn't control. i almost died from the sheer toll the summoning took on me.

and THEN to top it all off my own father who is absolutely livid with me puts me on trial and exiles me from the magistrate because apparently i was 'raised better than that' (i would argue otherwise though).

the worst part of it all? at some point during that shitshow a time traveler pops in. me summoning raum is a part of the good timeline. how did i fuck up bringing peace to the realm so terribly???
