Random Cat Generator
Can’t link in asks, so here ya go! Hopefully this link works:

Ooo this seems cool, could you give us some instructions on how to open/work it?
So i was doing some tests in java with weighted randomness and such, as well as learning some basic GUI stuff, and i ended up with a very small program that randomly (weighted) generates a cat genotype, and gives the description that would go along with it. I thought it might be something you'd be interested in. though since it's java it would have to be downloaded (no installation, just a .jar) so i'd completely understand if you weren't comfortable with that. Let me know and i could link it!
Oh dude that sounds awesome please link that

I hope you don't mind me pointing this out, but I always see people saying that point cats would have to come from a siamese or tonkinese or some similar breed for the pointing to show up. I did quite a bit of research into the in the past, and found that actually not really true at all. When I looked into the guidelines for color and patterns for breeds, there were an enormous amount that had point regularly showing up. And I looked into how common it is in moggies, and it's surprisingly -cont-
-cont- common among them as well. And finally I looked into how common it is in feral cats, and i’ve seen quite a few feral colonies that have a lot of pointed cats in them. It depends on what cats were in the colony at the beginning, but if even one pointed cat was in the mix, a good portion of the colony can become pointed. So really, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch at all to see pointed cats in the clans, though the canon gene pool doesn’t seem to carry it at all.
Omg hey paleclaw! Nice to see you! I hope you’re doing well! :3
Oh wowee that’s what I’ve always figured too. With how inbred the colonies can get you really would only need one early on to make a certain recessive trait widespread. I tend to simplify it to “they’ll need kittypet heritage somewhere along the line” but yowza you hit the nail on the head.Sweet. Guys take note of that! This will also work with other recessive genes like solid, classic, dilute, chocolate, etc.
Thanks for the information!

Some fun facts about twin cats since I researched into them a bit before. Because of how tortie patches and any white markings work, neither of those traits can be identical on twin cats. I'm not sure about tabby, but I think I remember reading that might vary between even twins just a bit. So if that's true, the only way for there to be a truly identical pair of twins would be if they're both solid colored.
Some more cool stuff about twin cats guys!
Keep it in mind.
Thanks Paleclaw! <3
