Staring intensely down at a pile of freshly graded papers, one particular test at the top as he went over it for the third time in an hour. He didn’t understand it-- this particular student never seemed to be paying attention during his lectures, so the fact that he was acing his tests absolutely boggled his mind. His class wasn’t hard, per say, but it definitely wasn’t easy. Since starting here a few years ago, several students have failed and even more students have struggled, some even decided to drop it altogether. But never has he had a student prove him wrong. From the start, he thought this guy would be one of the ones to drop. Usually there’s an air of... disinterest found in students that give up halfway, and Pandora definitely seems indifferent.
It left him to wonder whether he’s taken the course before-- or maybe he uses the textbook instead of his lectures to study for the exams?
Pushing away from his desk, he stood up and rolled his shoulders, rubbing away the stiffness as he exited his office. He nodded to greet a student passing by as he rounded the corner, greeted by a look that he couldn’t decipher. Stepping absentmindedly into the bathroom, he turned to find a figure he definitely recognized half bent over a sink. An eyebrow quirked involuntarily as he approached him, finding that the closer he got, the more disheveled he looked. But before he had a chance to announce his presence, he was spitting into the sink, a suspicious murky liquid finding its way down the drain. “Everything alright?” He asked, leaning forward to see his face only to find a red mark blooming across his cheek and jawline.
