Re-familiarized myself with water soluable oils- a set I purchased long ago specifically for #pleinair #pochadebox painting. They are super thick compared to the oil paints I normally use, but thin well with Gamblin gel medium. They get a bit too thin with water. They become tacky after about 4 hours. I’m still struggling with color mixes (phthalo green is the main green in the mix) but slowly learning to adapt and work with what I’ve got.
