Introducing my newest addition to my plant family, a Scindapsus Treubii Moonlight. I’ve been on the hunt for one of these for awhile, and finally found one on Facebook Marketplace from a very kind plant seller. So, needless to say, I had to make an introductory sketchbook drawing of it! accessibility: A photo of a Moleskine sketchbook open on a drafting table in front of a medium sized silver/green plant with large leaves. FINALLY FOUND THE PERFECT POCHADE BOX

I got this from Joann and it's totally from the children's section but it totally fit my needs. Most pochade/plein air set ups have an easel and flip open. I don't like watercoloring on an easel so I needed something with a flat top that wouldn't flip open and disturb or ruin my work. This was perfect and big enough for almost everything (couldn't fit my brush towel or brush roll in it, but whatever).

It's on sale (or was three days ago) for 20 dollars. This one is actually (allegedly) magnetic on the reverse, whiteboard side. It didn't specify which side was magnetic so I was hoping it was the chalkboard side or both so I could affix my pallet to it more securely, but whatevs. The magnet is so was that it barely holds anything. It might hold the little plastic letter magnets kids play with, but nothing heavier than that. So it you want one, save yourself like four dollars and get the non magnetic completely identical one.
