For a good Catholic boy (😂) who liked to keep his hair unconventionally long (up to the age of 35 or so) I would consistently make the argument that Jesus had his hair long, too. Here's a photo of me with "Tangerine." She's almost 5"x5." I remember lugging her over to the critique in the Great Cast Hall at PAFA. A strong gust kicked up and took us both into a brick wall, thankfully undamaged. Everyone in the crit was just super impressed with how much oil paint I had used (and quite thickly). A fellow student proclaimed "I love her! It looks as though she's been kissed." That was a good crit 😂

I haven’t posted here in a minute with the transition back to the States and training for the 206 mile (336km) Seattle to Portland #cycling event which I completed in one day for the second time and brought it in at 12 hours. Beautiful scenery and roads full of comrades in cycling- a great bunch of people. I was even able to meet family at the halfway mark in Centralia. It was wonderful to see the outpouring or support from the sponsor #kaiserpermanente, communities along the route, and #cyclists helping other cyclist complete the long journey. Mounting my old, analog trainer through the paces yesterday in prep for the Winelands race in Paarl tomorrow. I always have to clear a bit of #artstudio space to fit the trainer setup in.
