     it's  the  silence  that  makes  him  uncomfortable.  the  background  noise  of  the  upside  down  (  the  bats  and  the  lightning  )  have  finally  stopped,  but  he  wishes  it  was  still  here.  at  least  he'd  have  something  else  to  focus  on  other  than  his  injuries  and  trying  to  conceal  how  bad  it  actually  hurts.  a  forced  laugh  escapes,  and  eddie  unintentionally  winces  at  the  pain  in  his  side.  he's  looking  up  at  both  dustin  and  mike,  and  he  can't  believe  this  is  where  he  is  now,  depending  on  these  two  to  get  him  out  of  here.  "no  shit,  genius,"  eddie  says,  but  there's  little  humor  in  it.  "just  help  me  up  and  let's  get  the  HELL  out  of  here."
