hi i watched dghda twice, once alone then with a friends and we had a weird idk mind effect? like, after watching the first ep we were persuaded that dirk was blond? he's obviously not it's probably the yellow jacket + puppy like character that made us think that but?? did you or anyone else had that kind of feeling?

u kno it’s probs the jacket and the puppy look cause I kinda thought that too? Like I knew what he looked like I just pictured him blonde? or maybe it’s the fanart? but not really bc I could only find one where he’s blonde?

Apple Picking, Cozy Sweaters, Caramel Apples & Thanksgiving !

Apple Picking: What’s something you’ve done that you’re really proud of?

I’ve learned to knit during the past year and got pretty good at it! (well, according to my mom at least, which is not a reliable source because she’s that kind of perfect mom who’ll always marvel at what i do) But I did a sweater for my cousin’s baby with a birb on it that I was quite proud of!

Cozy Sweaters: Is there anything you wish would come back into fashion?

High waisted pants and skirt. Like, really, truly high-waisted, that come up to, well, the waist, and not just somewhere between the hips and the waist. Because I’ve got a big butt and big hips that means that any pants that don’t go up to where my waist is thinnier will spend the day going down no matter how tight my belt is.

Caramel Apples: What is your favorite class you’re in right now? Why?

Well I’m not done yet with my first week of class at school so I can’t tell, but i’m gonna attend a seminar at the ENS about gender and sexuality in YA&children lit this year and the first session was last week and it was so great!!! So I’ll go for that.

Thanksgiving: Would you rather speak all languages or be able to talk to animals?

Speak all languages. That’s, like, super useful as a translator. And I can always baby talk to my pets, they understand way more than we believe, and it’s funny to try to guess what they want you to do (tho my cats always manage to make themselves quite clear)

I love Aeschylus' Orestia, mortal lives twisted by the gods... My fave is Clytemnestra in the play Agamemnon, and also Cassandra... I'm writing a paper on them right now! Bacchae by Euripides is also pretty twisted but the meta is so interesting regarding the figure of Dionysus, the origins of tragedy and theater aaah

Clytemnestra, woah. I always wondered what i would have done if i was her. I mean -your husband litterally murdering your daughter ?? But at the same time gods on the other hand ? What can you do ? And then he comes back from war with a trophee, a poor girl no one believes anymore and ugh. Honestly, i love this part of Troy story, it’s so tragic -if you ever finish that paper and have it online, please share, that would be awesome ! (i must admit my love for cassandra ugh)+ the way theater grew is quite amazing, actually. needless to say it goes for dionysus too eh

Does your OC have a cell phone? If so, what kind?

She even has two, one for work and one for personal stuff. The “work” phone she shares with her co-workers, it’s basically the support line in case someone needs them outside of the opening hours of planned parenthood, and they take turns keeping it close. It’s not a very sophisticated one, mainly dedicated to phone calls or texts, not even a smartphone, more like an old thing that they don’t risk getting stolen.

As for her personnal phone it’s not a very expensive one but still efficient, probably a samsung galaxy, but not one of the most recent models.

What turns your OC on?

ok i’m gonna cheat on this questions because i ran out of ideas like 5 characters ago, but a good way to start sexy times with her is massages. if she’s really relaxed and warm with the hands of her partner it makes everything better.

What’s your OCs favorite kind of pizza?

Um, I think he likes to keep things simple. So some meat, pepperonis, and cheese. A lot of cheese.

What does your OC smell like?

I don’t remember ever smelling a perfume and going like “yep that’s it that’s Lyuben”,  but he probably stole Pepper’s at some point when he was a teen for comfort (it’s “spice bomb” by Viktor Rolf). As an adult he probably ended up with a more discreet one, prob a quite fresh scent.

Happy birthday!! I just wanted to tell you that I love your blog and art and fic. (I’m answering those late, they were for the hp headcanon) (I still hate that you can tag asks from mobile) She’s a St-Andrez, so she’s in some weird border zone between slytherin and gryffindor. Like, the family’s crest has a lion on it, but they’re not the stereotypical reckless gryffy. They also have pride, ambition, and that fierce loyalty that puts family before anything else. But, on the other hand, they also make great leaders. It’s a bit of both.
