The sauna is set up, logs and rafters! We will visit few hours tomorrow morning to put a plastic cover over it and we are free some weeks before we come back to cut off windows and door. The client made the drawing of this small cabin and he was also fully involved in all the process. An experience that I wouldn't mind to do again! We reached 2m high, cleaned the cheeks and cut the tip of the logs. Looking great so far. Tim and I spent few days cutting off doors and windows. We created a groove in what the jambs will slide while the logs shrink and we made cheeks that remind the walls corners. We can consider the logwork done! Tim doing the ruff cuts for the cheeks. We slap a blue line at the vertical axe of the log then draw the lines. We have the joint 18cm.
