. Name: (prince) Gracen Farran . Nickname: Ray . Age: 27 . Gender: male . Sexuality: gray-asexual . Species: gargoyle . Color Motif: gray
Gracen is the second-born royal child and prince of Pallomore. In contrast to Ivairis, while Pallomore is a little further away from Chromia, the two kingdoms always got along much better than the latter with Ivairis. Though one thing that seems ‘off’ with Pallomore is how all the colors come in neutrals, so there’s not much actual color there compared to Chromia or Ivairis. While Gracen is not the eldest child in his family and thus not the heir, he is still pretty well-liked amongst the royal court and his citizens. While he is more withdrawn and not as ‘flashy’ or as ‘confident’ as his older brother, he does not despise him or the amount of attention he is receiving lately as he prepares to become king soon in the slightest, as the two share a chill but close bond together. He is more of the strong, silent type, believing actions and meaningful words count way more than those who do or say things to get a certain reaction from others. While he is more quiet and keeps to himself nowadays, when he was younger he was much more outgoing, getting along with all sorts of other children. His most favorite childhood friend was Princess Amethyst Coran of Chromia, where the two were close enough to start crushing on each other before the attack on Chromia happened and he lost almost all memory of her and her country having been a kingdom. He has not felt quite the same since losing his closest childhood friend, having this ache in his heart where she once belonged that no one he has tried bonding with since has been able to fill. He has not fond himself able to form any other closer friendships, or even bring himself to start a family like his brother has and his peers are starting to. He is mostly over the initial sadness and does not think about her anymore, but a deep part of himself is still affected by her absence. When not spending most of his day in his room, Gracen can often be found in the palace library, as reading was always a favorite and comforting pastime of his.
