karaoke was practically in celeste's dna, family gatherings always centered around the activity. she's flipping through the book, enjoying the way the warmth of the fire offsets the cool ocean breeze. feeling a presence peering over her shoulder, her head turns to see who's joined her. “what do you think ?” she asks, tilting the book toward them, “should we make this a duet ?”
leon walks into the party with his cheetah coat on. he thinks coming here might cheer him up, not that anyone will find out what's wrong with him. he doesn't know it himself. besides, there's gonna be drinks, he has a cigarette pack and a joint inside it. "tell me," he says to the first person who notices him, "do i look like mackelmore in that thrift store video, or do i just look extravagant?"

best believe emma’s out there living her best life ! prone to making bad decisions after a few drinks . might make out with someone , might try to convince someone to skinny dip with her or jump over the bonfire . most commonly known to hang out by the live music , will complain if the music’s not vibey enough .
y’all better run when you see mila because she will 100% ask you to take her pictures ( & a lot more with her boyfriend obvi ) and if you’re good ? congrats she will bug you for the rest of your life prob . if you’re not good ? she’s judging , might nag you about it or try to help you improve your photography skills .
attending the bonfire party is not in gianna’s plan , as per anything that involves a social situation . she just simply wants to go for a nice peaceful walk by the beach but ofc there’s a fucking bonfire going on right now … will definitely leave early idk she just doesn’t want to run into anyone she knows or doesn’t in town .

she stood at the build-a-snowman station, the fake snow crunching beneath her boots as she tried to piece together a snowman that was definitely more on the lopsided side. she was focused, but the sight of a familiar face across the station caught her attention. grinning, she called out to the person, her voice laced with excitement. " hey! over here! " adisila waved her arms to catch their attention, the sound of holiday music and the chatter of the event swirling around her. " come help me out! my snowman looks like it's about to collapse. " she laughed, gesturing at the snowman’s less-than-stellar form. " i could really use some extra hands... unless, you know, you're planning to make one of your own? "

she didn't think she would enjoy the winter festival as much as she was. there was something about the way the air felt and the faint smell of gingerbread and sugar drifting through the neighborhood that quickly summoned her to the cookie decorating station. as poppy surveyed her options, she finally settled on a sugar cookie in the shape of a house and picked up the pink icing. the redhead took a seat and slightly turned to look at the person next to her. "pretty sure i've got to make this one extra special—think i should go full-on glitter or keep it simple?" she raised an eyebrow playfully, already squeezing a bit of pink icing onto the cookie. "it’s a big decision... so no pressure."
