Pampushky
ukranian cuisine is amazing ✨
Ukrainian halushki and pampushky. 🇺🇦
Pampushky, made using Atomic Shrimp’s fundraising recipe (https://youtu.be/tGnu5MTsx5Y).
Deviations: I used olive oil instead of sunflower oil because a) that’s what I had and b) Italian. I also gently cooked my chopped garlic in said olive oil while the dough was proofing and then set it a slide to infuse with the parsley.
Issues: I used Google to find an equivalent to 400g of bread (strong) flour instead of just digging out a scale, and the dough came out very wet (I had to add a significant amount of flour as I tried to knead it). I think it was still wet going into the second proof and then oven, but it still baked up nicely.
Next time I will use the scale, tho!
It’s national doughnut day today and if I was able to indulge, I’d be eating these guys for sure- pampushky (Ukrainian doughnuts) Just like Baba used to make ❤️😋Recipe link in profile. #nationaldoughnutday #happynationaldoughnutday #pampushky
