Oddam nerkę za to (a tak naprawdę to trzeba iść do roboty na sezon...)
My friend asked me to draw her internet character. She gave me a reference with no explanation.
This is what I drew.
Drawn in Photoshop.
POPGOES - Strings.
Strings is a mechanical experiment made by Fritz as a test for artificial intelligence and curiosity. He was originally a static ornament with a purpose of fighting nightmares of The Puppet; almost like a scarecrow. - POPGOES: Character game files.
I’ve lost most of the process photos for Strings, but Kane told me to come up with “protagonist” design for a character called Strings. I remember being very uninspired at the time and I had trouble coming up with anything at all. This was what I came up with, and eventually became something close to the final design of what Strings is now:

Animatronic concepts for Popgoes: Encore. I designed them. The aesthetic for the (supposed) second instalment was crudely-made reinterpretations (or mis-interpretations in that matter) of the animatronics, powered by an industrial tubing system. The main focal point was to enhance the uncannyness and the homemadeness of the animatronics and to make them fit into the industrial tone of the game.
All of the animatronics were stitched in using staples and sometimes bad sewing...you know, like badly-made B movie monsters.
(On a side note, people thought Bonnie X was uncomfortable to look at but I don’t find him that scary at all.)
Saraffron X and Chica X’s head concept was done in Adobe Photoshop. The rest was done in SAI paint.
POPGOES: The Plastic Grave - alt finishes aka what it could have been
There was a period of time when Kane wanted a comic just to focus on the lore of Popgoes, and even though he had another artist in mind for the job, he chose me instead. Eventually, it was cancelled due to production issues, but I still keep the work that I did for it.
Title Page: During a conversation on Skype, Kane roughed out the composition for the title page, which was as below in all of its full glory:
