Who knew that having a fence would feel like such a special treat? If there is one yard in my town with a complete, enclosed yard, it’s a new one. I’m not kidding when I say this. Almost every neighborhood in this town is now a naked piece of land with leftover structures and endless yards. No beginning or end. There are tarps or roofers on every roof. Heavy machinery and hauling trucks on every street. Deserted businesses, demolished warehouses, homes that sag with rain and mold, abandoned in the panic. There’s still so much to do. So much time needed. So much help appreciated. Personally I just keep praying for patience because it’s hard to feel this every day. It’s hard to thrive sometimes. It’s hard to WANT to thrive. Sometimes. So here I am, dancing in the shadows of a fresh new fence. Sorting my thoughts, drifting past my doubts. Finding stillness through intentional movement. It’s not even my fence. But I’m just as grateful for it. #panamacityflorida #hurricanemichael #gratitude #keepgoing #keepmoving #850strong https://www.instagram.com/p/BsYyA9Fhdsj/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=18w2vwu8xzksk
